Coach Jake is the one of the main reasons why I did not transfer after my first year. He came in and immediately made an impact on my personal training but also my personal life. He was able to cut my body fat from 9% to 2% in the first year and got me to lose 12lbs. He’s very technical and understands how to train each individual based on how their body performs. He was the best coach I had and really devoted all his time and effort into making sure you were able to perform to your best ability. He knows how to push you even further than you thought and whatever athletic goal you have he is the guy to get you there.

Coach Jake is the best in the business. He thoughtfully creates detailed periodized training, and can clearly articulately the purpose of everything you’re doing. Growing up in athletics, I was often told what to do, but not how, and definitely not why. You’re a really good coach/ trainer. Although I never got to really have you as an actual coach during the season. Doing Fall training with you and then having the best season indoor I’ve ever had says a lot. I really enjoy how it’s serious but not serious. When I’m training with you we get the work done but can also have a good laugh. A lot of the stuff training with you was so different, but one thing about it is it works. You were able to understand me as an athlete to know how to push me and what I need, and I’ll always be appreciative of that!
